Memory form is a type of foam that was developed by NASA’s Ames Research Center. The function of this foam is to protect the spacecraft by adding a few pad. Charles A. Yost, the contributing inventor of the foam also named it “temper foam”.

Gradually, this type of foam has gotten a few commercial interests. It was first been used in hospitals where they will help patients to recover. Before long, memory foam been made available to the consumers. You will see the use of memory foams in beds, pillows and also for laptop bags.

What makes this foam special is that it has higher density than other foam mattresses. That is why they could take in sudden impact. Have you watch an advertisment where a person dropped an egg on a pad and it doesn’t break? That’s the memory foam.

One word of warning: Infants should never use memory foams. The reason is that infants will find it tough to turn their bodies due to it’s custom-fit properties. Leaving your infants on such mattress will increase the risks of death.
