The reason this is wrong is not because giving compliments and gifts is bad, because it’s not. Gifts are a great way to show affection – but not right away. Doing this portrays all the wrong things about you. It says you’re desperate and would do anything just to have her.
If you really want to create instant attraction with a woman, communicate to her that you are the “selector”, and she she can gets to be with YOU if she plays her cards right, not the other way around…

This one is a big one that a LOT of guys just don’t get.

I’ve got to give credit to my man David DeAngelo for coining this term for flirting with women. Basically, David is THE MAN, and he suggests treating a woman you’re interested in “like your bratty little sister” (the one that you really love deep down), and teasing her playfully to get a reaction from her.
Being “cocky and funny” involves walking a very fine line. You don’t want to be too cocky and come off as a jerk, or too funny and come off as a goof. You want to come across as playfully teasing her.
For example, if a woman touches you, tell her she’d better be careful because you usually charge good money to let women touch you. If you do it right, and keep a straight face for a minute, then give her a cheeky little smile, she’ll love it, and there’s a great chance she’ll keep flirting with you.
This may sound counter intuitive at first, but I’ve used it for years and I swear by it. The fact is, cocky/funny portrays all the right things to a woman – it shows a woman you’re confident, it shows her that you’re fun to be around, and it shows her that you aren’t intimidated by her…all 3 very important things.
