The Current Body Shaper A Real Take On The Art Of Shape-shifting

February 14th, 2010 Blog Writer No comments

It should come as no surprise to people that body image can be defined by unrealistic rules. We are immersed in media anywhere and everywhere we go. Movie stars and models are spread out across the covers of magazines and gossip sites like a buffet of bad feelings about how I look in my jeans. Slender is one fashion trend that is always in style.

I remember the first time I heard about body shapers. I was thumbing through a weekly magazine and saw I stunning photo of an up and coming singer wearing one of those clingy satin numbers on a red carpet. The tag on the photo asked the stunner how she prepared for that dress and she said “Thank God for Spanx”. I had never heard of such a thing so I looked it up on line.

When my eyes beheld the product specifications on this popular brand of body shaper, I was forced to grab my soap box (even though I was alone in my office) and defend the liberated ladies of the world against the return of the corseted figure. Images of the bruised ribs of a woman who was laced so tightly that she occasionally passed out ran through my brain. I pull myself together and continue to read online and comparing the products that are available.

The design of the modern shaper is no kin to the medieval braces of long ago. They are commonly made of luxurious stretchy fabric that clings to the body without feeling like it is squeezing the precious oxygen from your body. You can cover a small section like your waist or cinch everything from your neck to your ankles. My personal favorite goes from directly under your bra and down over your hips. Don’t get me wrong, these shapers don’t slide right on and off like panties. They are fitted garments and you will not forget that you are wearing one.

At any age and any weight you can always find some imperfection that needs to be contained. You can wear them under a clingy dress or with jeans. They come in an array of sizes and have become increasingly popular among men. No matter whom you are and how you wear it, a properly fitted (most high-end ones are sold at stores where a clerk will help you choose the size that is right for you) body reshaper will smooth the lines of your figure and make you more confident. That is a good thing!

There are many companies that specialize in reshaping garments for both men and women. The company I like the best is Ardyss International. Ardyss has eighteen Body Shapers for men and for women. The Body magic shaper is the flagship product for the company. This product can be purchased online at www.getbodymagiconline or www.getbodyshapersonline

Adopt The Latest Technology And Go Hands Free

November 5th, 2009 Blog Writer No comments

Welcome Innovative Technology And Go Hands Free

Individuals have several names for these, from Hands Free Car Kits to Bluetooth Car Kits to Mobile Phone Car Kits but irrespective of what they call them, they’re absolutely necessary for Drivers.

New Zealand has finally followed in the footsteps of most of the Western World and banned the using of Hand Held Mobile Phones while driving. Of course, the legislation continues to spark healthy debate as there are a number of individuals that simply see it as another violation on our human rights.

Like most legislation it can become just the norm in a few months time and individuals in general will move on to alternative topics to voice their annoyance. At this stage a heap of people will have purchased a Bluetooth Car Kit.

What will stay is a giant number of fines being dished out for breaches of the new law. This! I see genuine sense in as opposed to ticketing drivers for 7 k’s over the speed limit.
Aah! You detect a minor annoyance here don’t you.
Well! Maybe it’s my turn to get on a soap box. Yes! I was ticketed by a speed camera. My crime was exceeding the speed limit by 7 k’s. Serves you right! I hear from some of you. Yes! I’m a criminal so lock me away! I did it! I intentionally flouted the law and should pay the consequences. 7k’s is totally unacceptable but still I am a tad irked. I believed there was a 10k tolerance to permit more minor speed fluctuations, not that that is a defense.

Maybe! it was because I was in a school zone and if so then sobeit. But wait! At 10 o’clock at night there aint many kiddies threatening to run across the road.

Just a note here
The Police are kind enough to point out that speed cameras are not a revenue collection exercise however they have a legal tolerance in place! Currently I could be wrong here BUT! If being ticketing for driving within a legal tolerance isn’t revenue collection then it’s honest to mention “I am going to eat my hat” Of course the Government could have slipped a law modification in below the radar (so to speak) and lowered the tolerance to 5k’s – to which I say REVENUE COLLECTION. If you want to penalise people for driving abuse then penalise them for speeding and drunk driving etc.

I’m yet to follow a police vehicle in normal traffic, that doesn’t fluctuate in speed just that little bit above and below the limit and most of their vehicles have cruise control.

Well that’s my gripe. No more complaining!
Now where was I ?
Ah yes!

The simple act of turning off the mobile phone while driving isn’t so much an a choice these days as our desire to stay in contact with our surrounding world takes precedence. We live in a of amazing change and advancement. The present generations experiencing this change have done so at a level unparalleled in the history of man. The last fifty years have seen more and more change than ever and it continues to collect momentum.

Thus! Welcome the technology! Get yourself connected and use a bluetooth automobile kit
