The Many Roles Of Shuttle Buses

We have all used shuttle buses at for one reason or another in our lives. Maybe it was shuttling from a parking lot to a conference center or from a wedding reception to the hotel. Shuttle buses are a practical method to move people securely and to conserve resources. However, shuttle buses are being used for more purposes than just the usual transportation from point A to point B.

A shuttle bus makes for an ideal way to carry people and resources for law enforcement to help to keep our country safe.

As communication vehicles, shuttle buses function as mobile command centers, emergency response vehicles, hazmat or bio-defense vehicles and even homeland security vehicles. These transportation vehicles can be equipped with modern gear with computers, satellite equipment and more.

Increasingly, shuttle buses are being utilized for sales and marketing. What a great method for having a mobile trade show or sales exhibit. They are well known for copy machine sales and service, cellular phone sales, golf trade shows and more. A shuttle bus for sales allows for plenty of space for merchandise, demonstration equipment, sales material and staff.

Naturally, there are also the traditional uses of shuttle buses and that is for transportation. They are commonly used as airport shuttles, college or school shuttles, corporate employee shuttles, and resort or hotel shuttles. They are also very helpful at retirement communities for transporting the elderly to the bank, the pharmacy and the grocery store, they are great as church buses, and they can also be equipped to safely provide transportation for the disabled.
