You know that organic latex mattresses are very durable. The investigation has shown that such mattresses can make your night sleep comfortable up to 30 years! Actually, the majority of the manufacturers of latex mattresses give a warranty for their products around 20 years in most cases. It’s a great plus that they can be of different hardness: from soft and medium, to firm hardness. It insures that everyone would get something to their likings. You also need not worry about turning them over or flipping sides, because they retain their shape and don’t sag or deform.

Today most of traditional mattresses, (spring, memory foam, syntex), are predominantly made of polyurethane foam. Actually, some of the components of polyurethane foam are known to be cancer causing agents or carcinogens. Moreover a process called off gassing naturally happens to this type of foam and these chemicals may be released during it. And when sleeping on the mattress made of synthetic components we inhale, which is not useful at all.

Investment Interest To Silver

December 16th, 2009 Blog Writer No comments

Make money with silver.
Silver has become rather a popular precious metal. It’s supposed to be able to outclass gold in the nearer future. First of all silver supply is relatively low in the world to compare with the general amount of gold. It means that silver is rarer than gold which results in a much bigger demand for this metal. Secondly silver is mostly used in different industries especially electronics. It’s not likely to be simply stored or used for jewelry when compare with gold. So the humanity requires silver.

In order to draw your investment interest to silver I’d like to tell you about some peculiar details closely connected with the history of its application. The curative properties of silver were known in antiquity. This is illustrated in medical works written in Sanskrit. Herodotus also wrote about these qualities of silver. The Persian king Cyrus during his military campaigns enjoyed drinking the water, preserved in the sacred silver vessels. The ancient Persians knew that the “plated” water will protect them from various diseases, widespread in the ancient world, whether it is typhoid or cholera. The ancient Greeks and Romans kept different liquids in the silver plate, knowing that in this way they would get a positive effect on the human body.

For centuries, great antibacterial properties of silver have been being used in the treatment of many inflammatory diseases. It is well known, for example, that about 2500 years before Christ, Egyptian soldiers used silver for the treatment of combat wounds. They put on wounds very thin silver plates and wounds got healed quickly. During the World War II, the same excellent results of wound healing were achieved by Russian doctors. They simply applied bandages, which were covered with a thin layer of silver. In the folk medicine of the East silver is traditionally used over a thousand years. Early American settlers moving to the Wild West, kept some milk in bottles with a silver dollar on the bottom. Since the IV century AD, the silver was used for the manufacture of kitchen facilities and tableware for the noble families of Europe. In cookbooks of that time it was mentioned it would be better to cook food in a silver dish. Before our time in Egypt, the tradition of wedding table with served chicken, baked in silver foil was known.

If start listing all areas of silver application in different industries I won’t be able to finish this by the evening. In fact if you are interested in silver investment I don’t advise you considering metal accounts to be your primary investment tool. You’d better preserve silver things as well as bullions and coins. Just be sure that silver is a relatively reliable asset for preserving your capital.

Right now during recession many people resort to selling their gold to get some cash. Nothing new in the cash for gold scheme. However you can be losing serious money when getting cash for gold if you work with the “middle men” on this market.

So, if you are seriously interested to get nice cash for gold, then visit this site for more details.

All Purpose Eco-Friendly and Organic Cleanser

Sulphuric and hydrochloric acid, phosphates and ammonia, bleach and petroleum – these are just a few of the damaging chemicals present in commercial cleaning products handled in the home. And you pay good money for them, too! Luckily for the eco-conscious homeowners, there is an all-purpose, green and organically-made home cleaner that costs less than a dollar and can be ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients and Supplies Required

To make this organic cleaning agent, you just require five basic ingredients and supplies. Throw in a little patience and you ought to be good at making more bottles for your relatives and friends, too, which makes for a cleaner environment. (Who says you can’t clean your dwelling without polluting nature?)

First, secure recyclable spray bottles with about one liter capacity. The emphasis is on recyclable and/or recycled containers because you want to guard the environment from more non-biodegradable materials, not add to the pollution.

Second, acquire white distilled vinegar made from grain and/or plant materials. Don’t use the ones made from crude oil! Remember that white distilled vinegar has cleansing properties, thus, its inclusion as the main ingredient in this natural cleanser.

Third, buy authentic lemongrass essential oil. It has antibacterial properties ideal for killing house germs. If you desire added antiviral and antifungal boosts, replace it with tea tree oil or just add a few drops.

Fourth, obtain some eco-friendly dishwashing liquid from the supermarket. Or better yet, from an eco-friendly market.

Fifth, add in generous quantities of water. Just stick to tap water instead of those fancy bottled water.

Directions for Mixing

Making the eco-friendly cleaner is child’s play, really. Merely fill your spray bottle until the halfway mark at about 500 milliliters. Then leaving a small amount of room for the other ingredients, pour in the white distilled vinegar at around 400 milliliters. Incorporate between 10 to 14 drops of the lemongrass essential oil. You can add said oil until 30 drops but it’s best to begin with the minimum amount to avoid skin irritations. Incorporate roughly 2-3 drops of the eco-friendly dishwashing liquid to the whole mix. You can then cap and shake the bottle until you make foamy bubbles; just a thin layer of it though. Label the container to prevent accidents especially when you have children around the house. Now, that didn’t take 30 minutes, did it?

You have to agitate the bottle before every use to uniformly distribute the ingredients. Also, stow it in a cool area away from direct sunlight, preferably one where kids cannot get hold of it. Eco-friendly or not, it can cause health complications when consumed in large amounts, as any household cleaner will do.

Uses and Tips

As previously mentioned, this is an all-purpose organic household cleaner. As such, you can use it to clean mirrors and tabletops, carpet and upholstery, clothing and curtains, stainless steel and chrome, porcelain and tiles, and even as a hand disinfectant. However, you must take care not to use it on marble as it can cause damage to the stone. Plus, it never hurts to spot test it before applying to the whole surface.

You will delightedly discover that, indeed, you can be spick and span around the house while taking care of Mother Nature with this natural cleanser!
